Now that he's two and mostly wants to spend his time spinning around with stuffed animals and making his plastic dinosaurs fight in our furry dog's water dish, the only way I can make Max sit still for a few minutes is to give him something that he thinks he can take apart. This is him yesterday, pushing the power button on our Instax Wide camera. He kept saying that he was going to take a picture "like Mama!" and, when he accidentally pushed the shutter, he was absolutely thrilled when a photograph came out. As for me, I'm thrilled he sat still long enough for me to take some photographs and I'm also thrilled to have a polaroid labeled "Max's First Photograph" sitting right beside me on my desk.
